Negligence - Duty of care - Highway authority - Road traffic accident - Liability.
On the evidence, a road traffic accident in which the claimants were involved had not been caused by the presence of water and grit on the road as they had alleged, but by the first claimant's driving, and accordingly their claim fell to be dismissed.
