Adoption - Practice - Freeing child for adoption - Judge freeing child for purpose of adoption order - Adoption to take place in United States - Whether freeing of child for adoption confined to 'adoption order' in this jurisdiction - ss 18, 72(1).
On the proper construction of ss18 and 72(1) of the a freeing order could be made in contemplation of an adoption not merely in this jurisdiction, but also in respect of a proposed foreign placement.
