Negligence - Information or advice - Health warning - Claimant suffering Reye's syndrome resulting from use of aspirin as child - Secretary of State issuing health warning concerning use of aspirin for children - Whether Secretary of State negligent in not issuing warning earlier.
An action brought against the Secretary of State for Health for alleged negligence in failing expeditiously to issue a warning against the use of junior aspirins failed; on the facts, the Secretary of State had acted rationally and in good faith.
