Bailment - Bailee - Gratuitous bailee - Duty of care - One of two parties jointly hiring car retaining insurance documents.
Where one of two parties who had jointly hired a car retained the insurance documents, he was a gratuitous bailee of the documents and was under a duty to take reasonable care of them and produce them if required to do by the other party.
