The Case
On an appeal to the Employment Appeal Tribunal against the dismissal of the appellant employees' complaint of unlawful deduction from wages, the tribunal ruled that the notice of suspension of the security of earnings provisions given by the employer was in breach of the terms of the employees' contract of employment and accordingly allowed their appeal.
