Police - Negligence - Duty to take care - Person in custody - Person committing suicide - Whether police officers owing deceased a duty to take care to prevent him from committing suicide.
The obligation to take care to prevent a prisoner from taking his own life deliberately only arose where the custodian knew or ought to have known that the individual prisoner presented a suicide risk.
