Bwalya Chilufya-Musonda

Biography

Bwalya Chilufya-Musonda is a Partner in the Banking and Finance Department at Corpus Legal Practitioners. Bwalya obtained her LLB from the University of Zambia and was admitted to practice law in 2009. She later obtained her LLM in International Business and Trade Law, under the Fulbright Scholarship, from The John Marshall Law School in Illinois, USA. Bwalya also holds a post-graduate diploma in Legislative Drafting. 

Bwalya has gained significant experience in advising both international and local clients in relation to banking and finance transactions in Zambia including, syndicated lending, corporate financing, project financing, export credit financing, sovereign financing and debt restructuring. She also advises clients in relation to capital market transactions in Zambia.

Bwalya worked for the Ministry of Justice in the Department of Civil Litigation before joining Corpus Legal Practitioners.
