Biography

Sarah Caughey is a counsel in Latham & Watkins’ Entertainment, Sports and Media practice.
 
Ms Caughey advises on the creation, financing and exploitation of content and the protection of intellectual property rights.
 
She has extensive experience in film finance, ranging from the financing of independent British films to structured financings with studios. She also advises clients on co-production arrangements and accessing various national and state subsidies across Europe and around the globe.
 
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Ms Caughey worked at a leading international entertainment practice with Lisbeth Savill and, prior to that, she worked at The British Film Institute, the UK’s lead body for film.
