Tom Williams


Tom is a solicitor in Michelmores' Litigation team based in Bristol. He previously worked with the Commercial Litigation team in Michelmores' London office and is a member of the firm's Agriculture, Agribusiness and Energy teams.

Tom specialises in dispute resolution mainly involving businesses and individuals in the agriculture and energy sectors. This involves disputes in relation to: property, banking, partnerships, planning, professional negligence claims and landlord and tenant matters, as well as disputes of a general commercial and contractual nature. His experience also includes dealing with both corporate and personal insolvency issues.

Tom's work includes renewable energy disputes. He is also developing a practice based on advising both operators and landowners on issues relating to hydraulic fracturing in the UK.

Tom is the editor of the 'European Law' chapter of the Supplement to the definitive agricultural law textbook, Scammell, Densham and Williams, Law of Agricultural Holdings (10th Edition). He is also the author of the section concerning 'piercing the corporate veil' in the 10th Edition.
