Biography

Emma is a Partner and Head of Technology & Data Protection at CMS in London.  She has been advising clients on data protection matters for nearly 20 years.  Emma advises a range of high profile clients in all sectors including technology, financial services and life sciences. Emma regularly advises on large cross-jurisdictional privacy projects and co-ordinates advice within CMS and beyond.  Emma is known for her proactive, solutions orientated approach. 

Emma has extensive experience in advising businesses on preparing for the implementation of GDPR and has advised multiple businesses on data breaches and cyber-security. Her experience includes advising clients on their strategy and approach to responding to regulatory investigations and actions undertaken by data subjects.
