Nora Bullock Biography Nora is a financial services and funds lawyer with nearly 20 years’ private practice experience. She trained at Hogan Lovells in London and was a fee-earner in their financial institutions and investment funds group until 2009, when she became a professional support lawyer, focusing in particular on asset management and funds. More recently, Nora worked in the financial services team at Dechert (in a blended regulatory fee-earning, business development and professional support lawyer role, focusing in particular on funds and asset management, including cross-border marketing of funds) and as a professional support lawyer in the funds and indirect real assets team at CMS in London (where she was also a member of the firm’s sustainable finance and responsible investment group). In practice, Nora worked on a wide range of advisory and transactional matters, primarily in the funds, asset management and private banking sectors, ranging from advising on new product launches, funds supermarkets, global customer terms and internet services, conduct of business requirements and compliance manuals to advising on listed and private fund establishments (with a particular focus on private funds with limited partnership structures), cross-border marketing of funds and fund transfers. Nora also has in-house experience from secondments to Barclays Wealth, working for example with regulatory change projects and intra-group ISA transfers.
