Robert Brown

Biography

Robert Brown is a highly respected criminal litigator and advocate with over 20 years’ experience of criminal work ranging from high profile fraud and corruption cases to extradition, regulatory and general criminal matters such as road traffic and homicide. Much of his work is international and, as the Vice Chairman of the British Russian Law Association, he has particular knowledge and expertise of Russia.

Most recently he has been part of a team of experts, led by Maastricht University, who are developing training guidance for lawyers and police officers across Europe, to achieve common minimum standards regarding the rights of suspects in criminal proceedings.

He joined Corker Binning as a consultant in 2001, becoming a partner in 2007. Before that, he was a partner at Darlington & Parkinson.
