David has practised in Brussels and London since 1980 and applies his many years of experience to give practical, readily understandable advice to a wide range of clients.
His extensive knowledge of a broad range of business sectors – coupled with his long experience and interaction with regulatory agencies worldwide – give him an unparalleled understanding of antitrust legal issues. He draws on this to deliver innovative, comprehensive and practical solutions to clients on complex matters across multiple jurisdictions.
His instructions regularly require co-ordination across many different countries and he is adept at managing the large teams of lawyers, economists and public relations advisers needed for such matters. Clients describe him as an ‘effective buffer’ between them and the regulator.
David was co-head of the global ACT practice for several years, before stepping down in 2010. He is a non-governmental adviser at the International Competition Network and has published extensively, including Butterworths Encyclopaedia of Competition Law.
