Alain Jouan

Alain has been practising tax law since 1989 and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1997.

Alain Jouan practices in all areas of tax law both as an advisor and as a litigator, acting for clients ranging from individuals to multinational companies, both listed or unlisted, in their inbound or outbound investments.

Alain represents clients in relation to acquisitions, mergers, restructuring, joint ventures, tax audits, and negotiations with the tax authorities.

On the litigation side, Alain assists his clients with respect to their tax issues before all administrative and/or civil French jurisdictions.

Before joining Bersay in 2018, he worked from 1989 to 2005 at Deloitte, then PricewaterhouseCoopers and Paul Hastings, before co-founding Vaughan Avocats in 2005 and DJP Avocats in 2008.
