Vanessa Winkler is a lawyer licensed in Brazil and New York, represents clients in domestic and international arbitrations, mediation proceedings and negotiation of complex disputes involving corporate and contractual issues, infrastructure, energy, among others. She holds an LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration from New York University (NYU). Graduated in Law from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with academic exchange at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). Training in Corporate Mediation at Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem (CBMA). Professional experience in international arbitration at Latham & Watkins in Paris, France, and at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) in London, UK. Received "Best Oralist", "Best Team Orals" and "Best Memorandum for Respondent" awards due to her participations in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition. 2nd Place in the Professor Albert H. Kritzer Monograph Competition on the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
