Benjamin Tankel#4455

Benjamin Tankel

Ben is a commercial practitioner. He regularly acts in and advises on multi-million pound disputes, often involving allegations of fraud. Ben co-wrote the chapter on bribery in the third edition of Wilmot-Smith on Construction.

Ben also has a large public law practice including public procurement, tax, healthcare, civil liberties and human rights. He has appeared twice in the Supreme Court and regularly appears, usually in his own right, in the Administrative Court on applications for judicial review.

With his mixed commercial and public law background, Ben is particularly well-placed to advise and act in commercial matters with a public law edge, such as regulatory disputes, public procurement, commercial judicial review, and commercial claims by and against public bodies.
