Richard Streeter

Richard is a partner in our Construction team. He is a specialist in the construction and operation of renewable energy assets, and over the last ten years has advised on over 20 offshore wind farm projects as well as numerous onshore projects across Europe.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland Richard was DONG Energy's Senior Legal Counsel in the UK responsible for the construction and operation of its offshore wind farms.

As well as advising on the supply and servicing contracts for renewable assets, Richard also advises on a broad range of initiatives in the renewables sector including long term operation and maintenance agreements, formulating industry standard forms, OFTO strategy, reducing the cost of energy, and increasing local content.

His recent work includes leading a team advising the shareholders of Dudgeon offshore wind farm on the divestment of the transmission assets, advising SSE on the sale of a stake in its flagship Clyde wind farm, as well as preparing the suite of contracts for Kincardine offshore wind farm, one of Scotland's first floating offshore wind farms.
