Isabel Aguilar Alonso

Isabel Aguilar Alonso is a senior associate in Uría Menéndez's Madrid office. She joined the firm in 2008 as an associate in the Corporate and Commercial area and has also worked in the IT and Insurance areas. From January to June 2014 she was seconded to the Luxembourg law firm Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen. Her professional practice primarily focuses on regulatory, banking, finance and corporate and commercial law. Within the regulatory field, she frequently acts as advisor to credit entities and investment firms on matters such as authorization, cross-border provision of services, marketing of products, MiFID rules and disciplinary proceedings. In addition, she regularly advises collective investment schemes, private equity funds and other investment vehicles, both Spanish and foreign. She is also an expert on payment services, e-money and SEPA regulations. Within the banking, finance, corporate and commercial fields, her practice encompasses finance transactions, securitisations, multi-jurisdictional assignments of credits, security packages and general corporate and commercial law.
