Anita Schläpfer

Anita Schläpfer is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's Banking and Finance Group in Zurich. Her focus is on banking and finance law, collective investment schemes, structured and derivative financial products, and financial services regulation, including insurance regulation. She specializes in advising Swiss and international financial institutions and corporate clients on the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of domestic and cross-border acquisition finance and syndicated-lending transactions, securitizations, and other finance transactions. She also assists clients on all questions arising in connection with on- and off-shore investment funds and companies, including licensing, distribution, and asset management-related issues. After heading its Banking, Finance and Securities Law Commission and holding various other offices, Anita was President of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) from September 2013 through August 2014. She regularly speaks at seminars and conferences.
