Raquel Agnello QC deals with all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, company and commercial litigation including: rescue and recovery work, voluntary arrangements, contracts, banking & finance, partnerships, guarantees and other securities, directors’ duties and liabilities, shareholder disputes and pensions and insolvency.
Raquel is a well established and respected practitioner with over 20 years of experience. She was also successful in the Court of Appeal on behalf of the Pensions Regulator and the case has now been heard in the Supreme Court.
One peer stated that her “greatest strength is that she understands the nuts and bolts of how corporate groups and insolvencies work on the ground - she has a natural understanding and finds it easy to talk to insolvency practitioners.” Agnello is strong on both pensions and insolvency law, and has done some important work for the Pensions Regulator. (Insolvency – Chambers UK 2013).
She has a strong record in insolvency litigation, being respected for her expertise as well as her extremely commercial approach to problem areas.
