John Robb

John has a broad commercial and public law practice. He has acted in the High Court, the County Courts and in international arbitrations, both as sole counsel and as a junior in a team. He is developing specialisms in shipping, finance, insurance and civil fraud, and also has longstanding interests in equality law and immigration law.

Before pupillage at Essex Court Chambers, John worked as a Law Clerk with leading Sydney corporate law firm, Chang Pistilli & Simmons (now Clifford Chance, Sydney). He studied at Cambridge University (undergraduate Classics and Law) and at Oxford University (BCL), and sang as a choral scholar at King's College Cambridge.
