Naomi Rive

Biography

Naomi Rive is a partner and the Jersey Practice Group Head of Private Client & Trusts. She qualified as an English barrister in 1999, and re-qualified as a Jersey advocate in 2003, before joining Appleby in 2006.

Naomi provides contentious and non-contentious legal services to high net worth individuals, international private banks and trust companies. Naomi advises on all aspects of the Trusts (Jersey) Law 1984 and the Foundations (Jersey) Law 2009, including the establishment, restructuring and winding-up of private, charitable, purpose and commercial trusts and foundations. She also advises in connection with applications for directions to the Royal Court and frequently represents trustees, beneficiaries and protectors of Jersey law trusts.

In her capacity as a director of Appleby√Ę??s associated fiduciary services company, Appleby Trust (Jersey) Limited, Naomi regularly provides trustee services and is a director on the board of a number of Private Trust Company structures. Naomi also provides protectorship services and family governance advice.
