Catherine Reilly

Catherine is the Director of Knowledge and Innovation in the Real Estate Department of Brodies LLP. Catherine specialised in property during her training at Bell & Scott and practised as a commercial property transactional lawyer at McClure Naismith and Biggart Baillie working for a range of clients including developers, investors and funders. She took up the role of Property Professional Support Lawyer at Biggart Baillie in April 2003 before joining Brodies to take up a similar role in April 2008. Catherine's responsibilities include the traditional professional support functions of precedent creation and maintenance, organising and delivering internal training, updating lawyers on legal and market developments and acting as in-house consultant. Her role has also evolved to include wider knowledge management responsibilities to implement technical solutions to drive efficiency and enhance the quality of service provided to clients. She also assists and advises clients and intermediaries with bespoke training and updates. Catherine is a member of the Property PSL Group in Scotland and the liaison group of PSLs which meets with representatives from Registers of Scotland.
