Biography

Oliver specialises in property and landlord and tenant related litigation and advisory work. His cases cover all aspects of this work, including related insolvency and negligence issues, and he has recently acted in cases concerning adverse possession, proprietary estoppel, easements, mortgages, the rectification of leases, development agreements, partnership disputes, compulsory purchase, and an arbitration appeal. He also has experience of judicial review.

He regularly advises on, and acts in cases under, the Electronic Communications Code and advises on agreements with operators under the Code.

He appears in Courts and tribunals at all levels, and is the co-author (with Stephen Jourdan QC) of Adverse Possession (2nd ed).
