Biography

Louise is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property department who specialises in trade mark portfolio management, trade mark and domain name disputes and anti-counterfeiting matters. She has also advised on patent disputes.

She advises a number of well-known brand companies on their trade mark and domain name portfolios, including those in the media, clothing and drinks sectors. She regularly handles trade mark disputes for clients, including a recent High Court dispute for a major high street retailer, and advises a number of software and luxury goods companies on anti-counterfeiting matters. She is co-author of the Anti-Counterfeiting Group’s Litigation Guide.

Louise has also worked on a number of patent disputes, mainly in the telecoms and pharmaceuticals sectors, including in the High Court and Court of Appeal. She also has extensive experience of alternative dispute resolution, having been involved with LCIA and ICC arbitrations, as well as a number of mediations.

Before joining Taylor Wessing, Louise was a senior associate at Linklaters.

Louise is the author of the practice note on ‘Anti-Counterfeiting’ in LexisPSL IP & IT.
