Daniel Bennett


Daniel acts for hundreds of claimants in personal injury cases every year, the majority on a CFA or CCFA basis. The bulk of his practice is workplace injury claims, with a mixture of union and non-union funded claims. He lectures regularly on workplace injury topics.

Daniel has a large occupational disease practice involving asbestos, HAVS, RSI, asthma, allergy, dermatitis, NIHL and infectious agents (bacteria and viruses). He is taking on an increasing number of occupational cancer cases with many settlements. He also acts for many injured claimants in public liability, consumer and environment claims. He is in Court regularly on all manner of PI cases before District, Circuit and High Court judges.

He was recognised in Chambers and Partners as a Leading Junior in Personal Injury: Spotlight table in Industrial Disease: London (2010) Junior Daniel Bennett is "the very embodiment of toughness when in court." "Hugely intellectually able" and the architect of a massive practice, he "bows to no one when pursuing the claimant's cause." Bennett has recently joined the set from Old Square Chambers and is the founding member of Doughty Street's new Bristol operation.
