Laura Benghiat

Biography

Laura specialises in general domestic and international commercial litigation. She trained, qualified and practiced at Jones Day, before moving to Slaughter and May, where she continued to practice for a further nine years.

An experienced litigator, Laura advised on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, including cases concerning breaches of contract, civil fraud, professional negligence and employment and shareholders’ disputes. During her time in practice, she acted primarily in high value and complex claims for clients from the banking and finance sector. Laura additionally acted in arbitration proceedings and advised on a range of domestic and cross border investigations.

Laura joined the Lexis®PSL Dispute Resolution team in September 2017, with key areas of interest including pre-action conduct, limitation and corporate disputes.
