Quinton John Newcomb

Biography

Quinton Newcomb joined Fulcrum Chambers in 2014 from the Criminal Bar where he prosecuted and defended in general crime before specialising in financial crime and proceeds of crime work. Quinton has experience of conducting internal investigations for companies and defending those being investigated for bribery and corruption offences (including a current SFO investigation into a former FTSE 100 company). He has experience of advising those seeking to engage in the self-reporting process with the SFO. He also has experience of advising companies on both stand-alone bribery and corruption and money laundering issues, in addition to those arising as a result of formal fraud and corruption investigations. Quinton is a regular contributor to legal updates, LexisNexis Practice Notes, and articles on White Collar crime topics. He has given a number of seminars on proceeds of crime topics to law firms and has experience of conducting anti money laundering and anti bribery and corruption training for law firms.
