Max has been a partner of BECKER GUENTHER REGNER since early 2013 when the firm has been rebranded. Prior to this Max was a partner of DLA Piper for more than 10 years. Throughout his entire professional career he has been specialising in corporate law including corporate structuring and restructuring, M&A including merger control and litigation. He has longstanding experience in cross-border transactions and projects and has been working for national and international clients.
Max has obtained law degrees from the University of Vienna (master degree 1988; Ph.D. 1999) and the University of San Diego, USA (LL.M. 1993) and a master degree in business administration (1991) from the Vienna University of Economics. He taught company law at the University of Vienna for several years. His publications include Company Law in Europe – Austrian section (LexisNexis) and several newspaper articles on M&A in Central and Eastern Europe.
