His knowledge of property law complements his personal injury practice in areas such as disrepair and multiple ownership or occupation. He has extensive experience of claims involving local authorities and NHS Trusts.
Ian's housing/landlord and tenant practice involves acting for local authorities, housing associations, private landlords and tenants in relation to commercial and residential tenancies.
Ian is an editor of Atkins Court Forms Personal Injury volume. He is a contributor to 'Advanced Civil Litigation in Practice' (3rd ed. Oxford University Press 2005) and has a number of quantum judgments published in Kemp & Kemp. He regularly gives talks on his areas of practice.
