Mehdi Megzari

Biography

Mehdi Megzari specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate, competition law matters and has recently developed specialised skills in the upstream oil and gas and mining activity in Morocco. He is regularly involved in domestic and cross-borders acquisitions (listed and non-listed), mergers and restructurings and more generally in various operations relating to corporate law and competition law.

Recent Professional Experience

  • assisting International Finance Corporation (IFC - World Bank Group) on an investment in the share capital of Alliances Développment Immobilier (a Moroccan leading real estate group)
  • assisting Wendel on a EUR 100,000,000 investment in the share capital of Saham (a Moroccan-based African insurance group)
  • advising MAN by reviewing its importer contract, distribution agreement and service partner agreement
  • advising Gucci by reviewing and amending its franchise agreements
  • assisting a major French group on its project to issue preferred shares
  • advising several Moroccan companies on their competition law issues
  • assisting International Finance Corporation (IFC - World Bank Group) and the ALAC Fund on a EUR 90,000,000 investment in the share capital of Saham Finances
