Nicholas Mead


Nick Mead is a member of KPMGâ??s Regulatory Risk Consulting Practice. He advises banks and investment firms on the application of UK and EU regulation across a wide range of issues. Nickâ??s particular specialism is in prudential regulation where he has a depth of experience advising clients on their risk-based capital requirements. This includes:

-Providing regulatory advice to clients across a number of prudential issues including composition and eligibility of capital resources, counterparty credit risk, credit risk mitigation, securitisations and the leverage ratio;
- Assisting clients in understanding the capital implications of transactions and acquisitions;
-Delivery of training to banks and investment firms on Basel III and its implementation in the EU through   
-Providing advice to clients on preparing their ICAAP and ILAA submissions; and
-Assisting new entrants to the banking market achieve authorisation as licenced deposit-taking institutions.
