Biography

Victoria McGie is a freelance construction lawyer specialising in international project development and construction, primarily in respect of large infrastructure projects, commercial developments and the oil and gas industry. She has advised developers, lenders, public bodies and contractors whilst working for Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP in London (including a secondment to London Underground) and then Shearman and Sterling LLP in the Middle East.

Victoria has expertise in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts including funding agreements, construction contracts (particularly EPC contracts), intellectual property agreements, process licence agreements, consultants’ appointments and associated collateral warranties.
