Oleg Batyuk

Biography

Oleg Batyuk is the legacy managing partner of Dentons' Kyiv office. He was a member of the Salans Board of the Central and East European Practice Group, and in 1992 he founded the Salans office in Kyiv together with colleagues from Paris and London.

Mr. Batyuk has experience in negotiating and advising on complex international transactions, establishment of joint ventures, privatisation and related issues in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. Many of his clients are major international companies and financial institutions as well as clients in Aerospace, Shipping and Transportation. He has been engaged as an expert witness on Ukrainian legal matters in several high-profile litigation and arbitration proceedings in England, USA, Canada and Sweden.

  • Advising a global leader in debt underwriting in connection with several Eurobond and LPN issuances by Ukrainian entities
  • Representing a leading independent investment bank in the Russian financial market in acquisition of a Ukrainian brokerage and establishing business in Ukraine
