Paul qualified in 2010 and advises trustees and employers on all aspects of pensions law. He has particular experience advising on the issues facing trustees and employers in multi-employer (including industry-wide) schemes, such as the identification of â??statutory employersâ??, section 75 debt triggers and apportionment arrangements.
Paul has also advised a number of trustee boards on scheme eligibility for entry and transition into the Financial Assistance Scheme and the Pension Protection Fund, as well as on the implications of failed equalisation of pension ages and ineffective amendments within scheme documentation.
Paul is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
