Aida Oviedo Martínez

Aida is Senior associate in the EU & Competition Law team of the Spanish CMS firm CMS. She joined the firm in 2010 after two years of experience in the Spanish firm Cuatrecasas, both at the Brussels and Madrid offices. She specialises in EU and Competition Law, in particular, regarding restrictive practices, abuses of dominant position, merger control proceedings and unfair competition. She has been involved in numerous sanctioning and merger control proceedings, advising clients before the Spanish and European competition authorities. Moreover, she possesses vast experience in appeals before the Spanish and EU Courts, the design and implementation of competition compliance and audit programmes, ongoing advice on competition and distribution matters and due diligence processes. She is also involved in antitrust damages cases before the Spanish civil courts.
