Nick Martindale


Award-winning journalist and editor, writing regularly for leading business publications and national media, covering a wide range of workplace, business, HR and finance issues.

In April 2013, Nick was named both talent management/career development and business/executive pay journalist of the year at the Towers Watson Excellence in HR Journalism Awards, having been highly commended in the category of HR journalist of the year (trade) in 2012.

Regular clients include The Times, The Telegraph, Economia (ICAEW magazine), Workplace Savings and Benefits, Hourglass (PwC's HR title), Edge (the ILM's title), Supply Management, CPO Agenda, FM World, Pensions Age, European Pensions and Lighting magazine, among others.

He is also an editor of Connections, a quarterly magazine published on behalf of the electrical industry registration body NICEIC, and Plumb Parts, produced on behalf of Plumb Center, and have also edited several supplements for national newspapers, including The Times and The Telegraph.

He is an experienced freelance copywriter, helping companies of all sizes and from many different sectors (including as a charity copywriter) with various writing requirements, including ghostwriting columns for publication.
