Max Maréchaux

Partner, Miller Thomson, Toronto

Max Maréchaux's practice deals with all areas of real estate law ranging from leasing (including commercial, retail, industrial and residential), conveyancing, development, to lending and mortgage work. Although he does not practise exclusively in any area of real estate law preferring a general real estate practice, he has acted on many commercial, institutional and industrial developments.

His clients are as varied as his practice including lending institutions, developers, investors, hotels, hospitals, government agencies and many individuals. He has also acted for major landlords and tenants in complicated and involved lease negotiations. Each matter is dealt with individually to ensure that client needs and objectives are met.

In a real estate practice it is necessary to respond quickly and effectively to deal with frequently arising time constraints and deadlines. He endeavours to be accessible, responsive in all matters and particularly in time sensitive and highly competitive real estate transactions.
