Nick Maltby

Biography

Nick is a partner with Bircham Dyson Bell in London. He trained with Allen & Overy and before joining Bircham Dyson Bell was a partner in Pinsent Masons and DLA Piper. Nick has a first class honours degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford where he attended Magdalen College. He qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and became a partner in 1997.

Since qualification, Nick has worked on a wide variety of PPP-type arrangements in the transport and social infrastructure sectors for more than 15 years including advising on the public procurement issues. Nick edits the maritime and road transport sections of Butterworths Competition Law Service and the Procurement section of Butterworths PFI Manual. He is UK country correspondent for the European Public Private Partnerships Law Review and a contributor to Practical Law for Companies. He speaks and writes regularly on PPP and procurement issues.

Nick is married and lives in Kent.
