Martin MacLeod

Martin advises companies on remuneration, focusing in particular on the legal and taxation aspects of employee share plans and executive compensation.

Martin helps his clients to establish and operate employee share plans, including bespoke executive incentive schemes, international all-employee arrangements and tax-advantaged plans in the UK and elsewhere. His clients include publicly listed multi-nationals, financial services firms, and smaller, privately owned businesses. He regularly advise companies on issues of corporate governance, executive hires and terminations, and matters relating to reward.

Martin has experience of a wide range of corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, secondary issues, demergers and restructurings. He also has a background of advising on wider employment, HR and pensions issues.
