Biography

Tom Macey-Dare is a barrister specialising in commercial law, with a particular focus on shipping, international trade and insurance. The Legal 500 have called him an advocate who can "grind the opposition into submission" and have consistently recommended him as a leading junior in shipping.

Tom is an expert at handling cases with technically complex subject-matter. He appears regularly in the Commercial Court, Admiralty Court, Chancery Division, Court of Appeal and commercial arbitrations, for clients including oil companies, shipowners, salvors, commodity traders, underwriters and banks.
