Sophie trained at Bristows and became a partner in the EU and competition team in 2016.

Sophie advises some of the world’s most important and innovative companies (e.g. Google, Samsung, AstraZeneca and Les Laboratoires Servier) and has been involved in numerous cases at EU and national level. Her particular expertise in technology and pharmaceutical sectors spans both non-contentious and contentious competition matters and she was core to the team advising Samsung in the recent Unwired Planet litigation, as well as working on Servier’s Appeal to the General Court in Luxembourg.

Sophie speaks regularly at conferences and writes extensively on competition law issues in books, journals and blogs, in particular concerning the interface with IP law. Sophie is a regular contributor to Bristows’ blog on the competition/IP interface, the CLIP Board.
