Biography

Deborah Kirk-Gasteen is a senior associate in the Corporate Department in the London office of Latham & Watkins. She specialises in intellectual property (with a focus on trade marks, copyright and brand strategy), outsourcing, information technology, media, e-commerce and data protection, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious work in her areas of expertise.

Deborah advises on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters within her specialist areas, including: M&A due diligence on intellectual property; intellectual property licensing arrangements, product branding strategy and brand development; advising on intellectual property aspects of finance and security arrangements, legal issues arising from online businesses and a variety of general commercial arrangements.

Deborah’s client base covers a broad range of clients, principally in the consumer products, financial, media, pharmaceutical and e-commerce sectors.
