Changez Khan
Changez has over 10 years' experience of acting for claimants and respondents/ defendants alike, both in the Employment Tribunal and in the High Court. He advises and appears in disputes involving discrimination, unfair dismissal, bonuses, restrictive covenants and breach of directors' duties. Some of his cases involve regulated professionals (such as FCA approved persons and teachers). Other cases involve a cross-over between employment and commercial law, where an employee is also a director and/ or shareholder. He has acted in include unfair prejudice petitions.
Changez has twice appeared in the Court of Appeal: Morris v Metrolink RATPV Dev [2018] EWCA Civ 1358 (trade union rights/ confidential data) and R & R Plant Hire v Bailey [2012] EWCA Civ 410 (age discrimination). His EAT experience includes Bahous v Pizza Express (2012) All ER D 191 (extension of time in discrimination claims). Reported High Court cases include Rahman v Icon College [2017] EWHC 3177 (QB) and Re Delmergate Ltd (both shareholder disputes), as well as Re Tiger Supplies Ltd (restrictive covenants).
