Simon Kenny is a Principal Associate in the Human Resources Practice Group at Eversheds Sutherland and a member of the firm’s immigration team.
Simon has previously managed immigration teams within three of the Big Four professional services firms. He advises companies and universities who seek to sponsor employees to work or study in the UK.
Simon has specialised solely in immigration law since becoming a solicitor in 2000 and helps organisations with immigration compliance responsibilities. This includes handling immigration risk issues which arise from major events such as the consequences of Brexit, illegal working allegations and sponsor licence suspension. Simon manages global immigration programmes for multinational companies and has introduced international business visitor tracking policies.
A regular speaker at training seminars and other events in the higher education sector, Simon writes in sector specific publications, professional journals and the media generally on immigration law. Simon has been consistently recommended in the Legal 500 since 2014. He is an active member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and the Law Society.
