Joanna Kennedy

Joanna was a litigation lawyer in private practice for 30 years . She was a partner and head of litigation in the Holborn firm Collyer Bristow until 2008 when she joined Z2K. For the last 4 years she has been CEO of Z2K , a charity which advises and provides representation for those on low incomes in London who face debt with essential household expenditure or who wish to challenge injustice and inefficiency in the welfare benefit system. Since October 2011, Z2K has been running a helpline and casework project providing advice and support to citizens of Westminster affected by the housing benefit caps . As a result Joanna has extensive experience of the impact of the reforms to housing benefit policy. She utilises her skills and wealth of experience to give back to the community through her work at Z2K.
