Joanna Kay

Joanna Kay, of counsel in Orrick's London office, specialises in international oil and gas transactions including upstream operations, project development, mergers and acquisitions and gas and LNG trading and storage arrangements.



Joanna advises clients on a wide range of upstream and midstream oil and gas agreements including concessions, AMIs, farm-ins and SPAs, royalties, operating and unitisation agreements, service and drilling contracts as well as transportation and sales agreements.



Joanna has worked in house as well as in private practice, including at Tullow Oil plc where she focused on upstream development projects and frontier exploration opportunities in Africa, Europe and the North Atlantic region.
