Miglena Ilieva

Miglena is a Senior Solicitor having specialised in UK immigration and nationality law since 2009. In her role as head of the PSL Team she is responsible for developing the team’s prominent technical knowledge, creating systems to streamline the delivery of advice to clients and external communications. Additionally Miglena manages training sessions and client events. Miglena regularly writes for the media and legal publications. Miglena enjoys her role in lobbying the Home Office to effect changes to immigration law and policy and advising clients on complex areas of immigration law. She has a particular interest in European law and is one of the firm’s experts on Brexit and the movement of people within the EEA.

She is a co-convener of the PSL Working group in the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association. The firm’s PSL team was shortlisted for the LexisNexis PSL Award in 2019.
