Ana Galus

Associate Ana Galus joined Turcan Cazac following an internship at the European Court of Human Rights (Strasbourg, France), within the Legal Division of the Registry. Ana also brings in work experience from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, where she worked as a public officer in court administration. At Turcan Cazac, Ana specializes in commercial, corporate and competition law and has quickly become a valuable team member, having been involved in the wide majority of the firm's leading mandates in 2011-2013. Ana is involved in all competition law matters of the firm and has been an active and valuable participant to the reform of the Moldovan competition legislation carried out during the past two years. Ana holds an LL.M. in European Law from Leiden University (the Netherlands) and a Bachelor of Laws from Moldova State University. Moreover, Ana obtained a mediator license from the Mediation Council of Moldova and has been accredited as a commercial mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. Currently, Ana practices mediation as part of a pilot mediation program funded by the EBRD. Ana is also part of a two-year advanced training seminar for lawyers in the European Convention on Human Rights. Fluent in English, Romanian and Russian. Member of the Moldovan Bar. Publications
