Mark has over 12 years experience in the music industry and heads the Digital Media Group. He was made a partner at Lee & Thompson in 2004.

Mark has been actively involved in digital media for many years and as well as being regarded for his knowledge and understanding of the area is a named individual in Legal 500. He works with a broad range of clients including startups, record labels, community sites, games developers, streaming services, aggregators, retailers and content owners. He also speaks to industry on the subject.

In the music and entertainment industry Mark continues to work with new and established artists in all aspects of their careers, but lending to this his specialty knowledge in the areas of digital music, sponsorship and merchandising (including book publishing). He currently works with such artists as Katie Melua, JLS and Queen.

Due to Mark’s expertise across a number of disciplines and the increasing convergence of these disciplines in the digital space, Mark has particular experience in advising on so-called multimedia or multiplatform projects.
